Friday Griffith Park Hike from Ranger Station

Meet in front of the ranger station. Parking is in the free parking lot. We'll go on a 4-6 miles RT 800 feet elevation gain hike. Hike will be approx 2-2 1/2 hours. Bring water, sweater since we'll be hiking in the dark, shoes with good traction.

Meet by lights--near building.

Ranger Station is by merry-go-round. There's a stop sign where it is. The Mapquest directions may take you too far.

If you leave early, please tell someone. We don't want to look for you.

Rain cancels hike--including light rain.

Hike isn't recommended for beginners or people out of shape. This is a moderate hike.

Note that due to construction, Crystal Springs is still closed between the Autry Museum and the south end of Harding golf course (that’s to the north of the turnoff for the hike). The easiest way to get to the hike is by going north on Crystal Springs from Los Feliz Blvd.
