Fabulous Friday @ Zen Lounge

Join us at Zen Lounge for music and drinks. Happy hour from 7pm to 10pm (but some of us will be at Scratch from 7 to 9). Dance to "the Bays top DJ's spinning the best in top 40, hip hop, rnb, house and dance"...

As your host, I plan to be there around 9pm. I may or may not be busy dancing and/or conversating, so you'll just have to go out of your way to find me. I will have my cell phone so you can try calling me (65O-339-2131) but if the music is loud I might miss your call.

BTW: I came up with an answer to the question re: how to find the group. I don't think we all want to wear name-tags, so I found some cute little smiley-face stickers that will plainly but discretely identify each of us as part of the group.

So if you see someone wearing a smiley-face like yours, here's what you do: Stick out your right hand and say "Hi! My name is . Are you with the MeetUp group?". Easy, right? And if someone offers to introduce themselves, please shake their hand and reciprocate by saying "Hi! Yes! My name is ". Hugs are an acceptable and welcome substitute for the formal handshake, but not required.

I know, this might be common knowledge for some of us, but I just wanted to cover some basic procedures for those of us who don't get out much. ;-)

FWIW: The Chinese Language Meet-Up group has their thing at Zen the last Friday of each month, so they will be there again this time. Our group is easy to spot; we're the only ones NOT wearing name-tags. =)
