'Oxford Language Lounge' offers free language exchange practice social meet ups on an informal basis. Our events are scheduled every month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 8pm onwards and we meet on the 1st floor of the Cape of Good Hope pub, 1 Iffley road, which is located in St. Clements just opposite the roundabout and very near to Magdalene bridge and the high street plus to Cowley road.

There is also an associated facebook called 'Oxford Language Lounge', to be used to network socially and share news on e.g. jobs and rooms to rent plus any other kind of relevant news you may want to share.

As of February 2011, there will also be not-for-profit structured English conversation meetups scheduled at same time and venue but on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. These events are open to anyone and we hope to encourage native English speakers and language tutors to attend and to support English learners. However these latter events are mainly aimed at supporting English language students or anyone who's wanting to improve their conversation skills and language use in English.
