Dear Tea Partiers,

The Pittsburgh Tea Party is providing buses to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, September 10th, for the noon Exempt America Rally in front of the U.S. Capitol building featuring Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT), Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Rand Paul (R-KY), and Brent Bozell of ForAmerica, Rep. Steve King (R-IA), Citizens United's President David Bossie, Michael Needham of Heritage Action, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, our own Rose Tennet from "America's Morning Show with Quinn and Rose" and many more. Please click to see details and the speaker list for the rally

While the Tea Party Patriots attempted to organize buses from our region for the Exempt America Rally, for logistical reasons, they were not able to make it work and will not be providing buses for the greater Pittsburgh area. Therefore, the Pittsburgh Tea Party is going ahead with buses with our normal bus pick-up location.

This note provides the only official signup links for the Exempt America Rally bus trip leaving from Butler, Pittsburgh and Monroeville. (If you have signed up previously indicating an interest in attending for a rough passenger count, you must sign up here using the links below if you definitely want to attend.)
Please sign up as soon as possible so that we can insure we have seats for everyone interested in going.
We will be using Butler Motor Transit, our usual bus company, to provide transportation.  We will have three pick-up/drop-off locations: Butler Motor Transit, Ross Towne Center, and Lowe's in Monroeville.  Our usual bus fare is $50 per person from all locations, payable in cash when you board the buses.

The buses will leave from Butler Motor Transit at 5:30 a.m., Ross Towne Center at 6:00 a.m. and Monroeville at 6:30 a.m. Be there 15 minutes early to board the buses.  The buses all have a restroom on board.  We will be making a stop for breakfast on the way down to D.C. and a stop for dinner on the way back.  With our departure times, the buses will drop us off half an hour before the noon event.

If you have friends who would like to sign up, forward them this email as there are specific links for each departure location.  Please sign up only if you are certain you will be attending.  We need an accurate count to fill all the seats.

To sign up for our bus leaving from Butler Motor Transit, register here.

To sign up for our bus leaving from Lowe's in Monroeville,  register here.
If you plan to attend, please bring a sack lunch, bottled water, a folding chair or a blanket, sun screen, a hat and sun glasses.  We will provide more details as they emerge.
