Photography, Modeling, and workshops!

Photography and Modeling Workshops, including outdoor nature excursions are being planned here at PHOTO-FUSION.

Photo-Fusion has begin to be active in Manhattan, seeing that I'm in the City on a regular basis.
That said, PHOTO-FUSION-NYC has emerged. You may want to visit http://www.meetup.com/PHOTO-FUSION-NYC/ to see your sister group. Feel free to join it to be kept abreast of its coming events.

This group, is a fusion of beginning and advanced photographers. Photo-Fusions meetups will have a clear agenda. A regular monthly meeting will be held on the first week of the month. The location will vary from North Jersey, New York to Philadelphia. This meetup is an open forum, where we discuss technique, styles composition, posing and the business of photography. There will be no cost to attend these meetings.

I encourage members to be active in other Photography meetups. If you come across any that you find interesting then please post it here. From time to time I will announce meetups from other organizations that I will be attending. This is a great way to widen your horizon with different teaching methods and techniques.

My goal is to enjoy my passion of photography with others. The fees I charge are ways to fund that passion and to continue teaching and sharing. Some of the fees help fund the contests I sponsor and defray the cost of traveling, time and the management of the group.

This meetup group covers all of New Jersey, NYC, and East PA. You will notice that the originating location will change periodically on the meetup board, ranging from NYC, Princeton, & Philadelphia. This is to give a better representation of the area this meetup is intended for since many excursions will involve travel regardless where you are, some may be in your very backyard. Members are encouraged to suggest meetup ideas.

As this meetup continues to grow, its evolution is finding its own path.

PHOTO-FUSION now seeking male and female models that are actively pursuing a career in modeling. They are encouraged to join PHOTO-FUSION. Total models in Photo-Fusion will be limited to 13. Active participation is required to maintain membership. All request for membership will be pending a test shoot or the submission of a comp card.
Models participating in Photo-Fusion and after being active members for 2 month will receive 100 comp cards supplied to them for workshop compensation (over and above other compensation negotiated). Photographers participating in workshops may use the models images for their portfolios only. Restrictive model releases are available to the photographers and their fee depends on the type of release.

Model Workshops will be provided for MODELS ONLY to guide them in the process of creating a comp card, contacting agencies and establishing themselves in the market place.
