PHPAmersfoort January 2014 Meetup

For our sixth meetup (and first meetup of 2014) we'll be joining Pink Web Applications at their office which happens to be nearby last month's meetup location. It's a 15 minute walk away from the Amersfoort Central train station and for those that come by car; you can park your car at the Eemplein parking garage ( http://www.parkeergarageeemplein.nl/ ).

Joining us this time is international speaker Thijs Feryn who has currently given over a 100 talks worldwide.

CLI, the other SAPI
Most of us are familiar with Apache and perhaps FastCGI, but Thijs is here to educate us about the other SAPI: CLI! Thijs will talk us through using PHP through the Command Line Interface as well as writing scripts specially tailored for the command line. After showing us the many use cases for CLI and how you can reach its full potential handling I/O and catching signals, you should be all set to write your own CLI scripts.
