Major Topic (13th Feb): Web Application Security by Kapil Sharma (45 minutes)
Application security is one of the most important (and probably most ignored) part of Web Applications. In this session, we will discuss most common security threats for a web application and how to make application secure against them.
We will have few examples in PHP but in general, this topic is valid for any server side programming language.
Minor/side talk: Web Application vulnerability demo by Mayur Gaud (15 minutes)
Mayur, Tech Lead at Ansh Systems, will be providing a demo of how sites can be hacked.
Please note, this is just a demo and he will not hack any live site, which is illegal. He is working on demo site with vulnerabilities left knowingly, running locally on his laptop as we can't put vulnerable sites live.
