Meet other local leisure hiking enthusiasts in this positive family-friendly group.  We do hikes and all other sorts of activities.

We hike all around the PNW.  When hiking you pack it in,  you pack it out.

Before applying for membership, PLEASE review our Rules & Regulations in the "PAGES".

We do not require members to pay dues,  However, there is a cost to maintaining this site so donations are accepted.  If you enjoy this group please consider contributing $10 per year.

We look forward to hiking with you!  Oh, and if you are interested in suggesting a hike or becoming an event organizer, let us know! :)  Our group says we are from Seattle but we have event organizers that live both North and South and we hike all over the region.

This is to give you information as to what is going on with the group.  This group is here to assist in bringing people together for posted events.  Up until recently there has be one repeating hike and no other hikes posted.  It was a self-guided hike meaning that there would be no event leader on the hike so if you wanted to do the hike it was up to you to reach out to others that also RSVPed and let them know you wanted to hike together.  Many times if there were many RSVPs if you just showed up at the specified time and place there would be others to hike with.  But it is better if you enjoy hiking in groups to reach out ahead of time.

I started receiving requests for other hikes from several people suggesting other hikes.  A majority of them are pretty long hikes but I created meet ups for them anyways since that was what was wanted.  Just posting the meet ups even without a guide allows people in the group to RSVP to events and be able to see how many others are available that day and want to attend the event together.  With more hikes posted it will attract a growing number of hikers and getting the group of people you would like hike together with will become easier and more fun as time goes on.  As more suggestions come there will be more hikes to choose from.  Popular hikes will remain and hikes that are unpopular will be discontinued with time. Thanks for being a part of this.  It would not be what it is without your participation.  Hope to see you out there.
