I'm pretty new to portrait photography. I've taken some online photography courses and have spent some time with a few photographer friends who have taught me a lot. I've spent a lot of time learning as much as possible on websites-mostly lynda.com and dps.com. Lately I've been taking pictures of whoever I can in order to get portrait experience. Every session I've done so far has taught me something that I've been able to use to improve the next. I've gotten great feedback but there's so much I don't know. I'd love to become skilled enough to make photography my main thing-the more I do it, the more comfortable I feel. I'd love to actually feel like I know what I'm doing-to have that sort of confidence.
I bought my first DSLR about a year ago and discovered a love for photography I never knew I had. I'd like to make a profession of it and I'm always looking for ways to learn and improve my skills. I can't get enough of it-its become a passion!
