May Meeting @ Redfin

For May, we return to PuPPy founder Dusty Phillip's favorite venue at Redfin.

Melanie Warrick is a Deep Learning Engineer at Skymind. Previous experience included data science and engineering at Change.org and a comprehensive consulting career, both domestic and international (e.g. Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Peru, Bangladesh, Kenya, England, etc.).

She is pursuing a career path in building machine learning products that consume data at scale. Melanie's interests are especially around neural nets, recommender engines, and distributed systems. She is driven to make smarter tech & AI.

Melanie is joining us from San Francisco thanks to a grant from the Python Software Foundation (https://www.python.org/psf/grants/).

Carlos Guestrin originally scheduled to join us in May will move to our June meeting when Google in Fremont hosts us.
