Psychonautic Awakenings: Entheogenic Activism & the Church of the Prankster

Details
“A shaman is someone who has seen the end. And therefore is a trickster, because you don't worry if you've seen the end. If you know how it comes out, you go back and you take your place in the play...” - Terence McKenna, Alien Dreamtime
Featuring Rak Razam, Jonathan Talat Phillips, Claudia Wheeler-Rappe & Michaelangelo
For one night only, Psychonaut Productions invites you to an experimental salon, celebration, and interactive adventure into the ever-evolving Church of the Trickster, as we honor (and prank!) one of our most beloved Aussie allies -- “Aya-Awakenings” filmmaker and big-wave shamanaut Rak Razam.
Dadaists, Beats, Hippies, Punks, Ravers, Burners, Psychonauts, Ayahuasqueros… For generations, underground movements have channeled wild, weird, and wondrous trickster archetypes to spark the human imagination and revolutionize society. With the explosion of today’s Entheogenic Renaissance, how can we harness the powerful and playful prankster energies to create new paradigms of art, activism, media, and culture?
“Electric Jesus” writer/media activist Jonathan Talat Phillips, Rock-n-Roll Renaissance pioneer Claudia Wheeler-Rappe, and Bay Area word-rician Michaelangelo will co-create this multi-media, multi-dimensional expedition into the legacy of MK-Ultra, psychedelic history, and pranksterism within the global shamanic resurgence.
BYOBS (Bring your own beverages and snacks) in the spirit of old-school rent-salon-art-parties, and stick around for music, mingling, and psychonautic shenanigans after the salon.
