I have an Aussie I rescued last year and haven't found a meetup group prior to this that I thought he would enjoy. Hiking and picnics,he would enjoy.
I will be bring my Australian Shepard ,Swaze pronounced swayze after Patrick, because he is such a handsome boy.
No! Sorry, but the shelters and rescue groups are overloaded with every pure bred dog and cats as well as mixed. I especially feel bad for the pits, but couldn't keep up with them.
I sometimes help out with a cat rescue from Tampa, where I adopted my cats from. I support limbo chihuahuas from Gulfport. I used to be a dog walker at various shelters over the years, but not as able to handle bigger energetic dogs, like I used to.
Swaze spent his first 7 months in an outdoor cage. Another young lady rescued him,and I took him at 10 months old. He was terrified of his own shadow when I brought him home. Would hit the floor and relive himself if I moved to fast or in a new place. Now, he loves everyone, travels well and sometimes plays with other dogs. He was attacked by a couple dogs at a local park,so I'm careful about taking him to parks, and survey the people first. His best friend is a frenchie, also a rescue. They attend daycare once a wk or so.
Hi everyone, I'm looking forward to meeting up with others who enjoy the outdoors with their dogs
Responsible enjoyable people all working toward promoting safe enjoyable ,organized fun with pets. Especially ones who have issues in other settings. I feel comfortable bringing either of my dogs in the future.
