Morning Paddle at Ocean Inlet Park (by the Boynton Inlet) on the Intracoastal

The area just south of the Boynton Beach Inlet is a fun place to paddle. We paddle through an area with good blockage from the wind and end up at a nice mangrove section to the south of the park. We may head out to the Intracoastal Waterway is still pretty wide enough through out most of this paddle so that boat traffic doesn't pose too much of a problem. We're paddling a little earlier this morning due to the tides.

Once you get to the park, turn left in the parking lot just past the gatehouse that is never open. Look for parking near the playground and my large white van. Another paddling location where parking is free!!! Hooray!

Paddleboard rental and lessons are available. Our sponsor, Paddleboard Connection will provide the boards for $30 for experienced paddlers and their guests (also experienced paddlers). If you are a first time paddler, a lesson would be necessary to paddle with the group at 8am. A lesson and the equipment rental are $40 (total) for meetup members and their guests. Please arrive early for the lesson at 7:30 am. For board rental or lessons; please answer the RSVP questions so we know how much equipment to bring. See you on the water!
