The Page Turners Pages

If you enjoy reading a wide variety of books, but always wish you had someone to share your experience with... here we are! We are a very diverse group who share a round table discussion. Sometimes we work off a list of discussion questions and other times the book creates a discussion on its' own. Our books are selected and voted on by our members.

Each meeting generally has approximately 15 members, so discussion is very comfortable. We start our meetings at 7:00 pm and they generally last between 1-2 hours. We have two meetings every month, the second (or third if it's a five Tuesday month) and last Tuesday of each month so you can plan in advance.

You don't have to finish the book to join in, but expect that we will spoil the ending for you!
We have only three very basic rules; unlike most groups that continue to keep inactive members, The Page Turners only allow consistently active members and the rules are firm.

1) You must remain active in the group. You need to attend a minimum of one meeting every three months. If you do not attend a meeting within 3 months you are considered an inactive member and will be removed from the group.

2) If you RSVP yes and no show twice, you will be removed from the group.

3) If you do not pay the annual $10 fee within three months of joining, you will be removed from the group. Annual dues of $10 (to pay for the convenience of the meetup website) are due within the first three months each calendar year

We are currently meeting at Boswell Books on Downer Avenue on Milwaukee's East Side. We appreciate your supporting our local, independent book store whenever possible... Boswell's has been a fabulous sponsor for us.
