All my female friends claim that they have no female friends. I am looking to put a stop to that. My goal is to start a book club for a small group of women in the triangle who are into fun without spending a lot of money or being too wild. For both the social butterfly or the wallflower at heart, I am looking to help women (including myself) network and meet new people.
I am married, christian, african american and although I have a career that I love, would consider myself and my husband 'blue collar.' I feel like that is important to note, so that you know what to expect coming in.
You can be single or married and I would love to have a diverse mosiac of readers. However, I do prefer that we share similar values. Needless to say, I'd like to find a group of book lovers who enjoy thought provoking, in-depth discussions about literature, religion, politics, relationships, and current events.
Please email me a small bio (who you are, where you live, what you read, what day you would prefer, age, etc) if you are interested. I am looking to get the ball rolling!
