Plan for Palo Alto Data Science meet-up, August 7

Hello PADS Members,

A big "Thank You" to Sandra Peterson for organizing this group for the past 6 months and for growing it from 100 to over 800 members.

My name is Bob Boyd, I'll be the organizer the next 6 months or so.

We will continue to meet on the first Thursday of each month. Our next meeting is scheduled for August 7, 2014. There will be no meeting on July 3.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Showing Data by John Boykin

If you would like to present at any future meeting, please send me a description of your proposed presentation or demonstration. Previous presentations have leaned toward real world applications, personal expertise and innovative approaches to solving data science challenges. The more specific the better.

If you know of a venue in the Palo Alto area that can accommodate 100 to 150 attendees, let me know about that as well.
