Who we are:
Allow me to introduce you to Paranormal Research.
We are assembling a scientifically-oriented paranormal research team. Our team will investigate private residences, businesses, or other locations where suspected paranormal or otherwise unexplained events are thought to have occurred. Our goal is to carefully gather objective evidence and debunk events/occurrences that have mundane explanations.
Our philosophy:
The goal of Paranormal Research is to investigate suspected paranormal activity in an entirely scientific manner. We are neither skeptics nor "true believers"; rather our minds are open to the possibility that phenomena exist that have not yet been adequately explained by the laws of science as we know them.
By remaining objective and employing sound data collection and analysis techniques, we will ensure that any data we collect and prepare will withstand the scrutiny of any outside source, be it the general public, the media, or the scientific community. This is the first and most important step towards gaining legitimate recognition for the field.
We perform our investigations and data analysis with the utmost in discretion and professionalism. We do not employ mediums, dowsing rods, sensitives, or any other nonscientific/spiritual modality.
In addition to having the opportunity to view/hear selected raw data, our clients will receive a written report and face-to-face consultation at the conclusion of the case. Our services will always be provided at no cost to the client.
Our equipment:
Our equipment is brand-new and state of the art. We are always searching for newer and better ways to collect and process data, so our equipment roster is updated frequently. Below is a partial list of our field gear:
High capacity 16-channel network DVR with long-range, high-resolution 0 lux infrared video cameras
High-definition infrared handheld video cameras
Infrared laser thermometers with K-type probes for ambient temperature measurement
Electromagnetic field detectors (with and without K-type ambient temperature probes)
Digital voice recorders
Infrared motion detectors
Digital still cameras
Software for advanced video and audio analysis
Who we're looking for:
Currently, we are searching for a core group of interested individuals who want to be part of an active research team. An active team spends most of its time between investigations searching for and evaluating new leads, as well as acquiring and testing new equipment while becoming very familiar with existing equipment. During an investigation, every member will have a part in the process and will be expected to contribute during all phases of the process.
We can still have other, more informal gatherings that are not directly related to research, but the primary goal of this group is as stated above.
We will provide training and equipment. All members of the group should eventually expect to become fluent in all phases of the investigation. This will include set up and break down of all equipment, use and general maintenance of equipment, documentation of findings, data analysis, and data presentation.
A typical investigation will take place on a Friday or Saturday night and will typically last 7-10 hours. The process of data analysis takes place in the following days and weeks. A significant amount of time is required during this period to sufficiently analyze the data and construct a report for the client.
Interested individuals are invited to contact me. Since we are looking for a rather compact, committed group, I ask that all applicants fill out a few profile questions. Once that is completed, I will contact each applicant prior to making a decision on admittance. Thanks very much for reading, and I hope to meet you soon.
This group doesn't have any additional upcoming Meetups scheduled.
