WELCOME SCIENTISTS AND NON-SCIENTISTS ALIKE!

The “P3Group” will meet the 3rd Friday of most months to view documentaries on particle physics, quantum physics, theoretical physics, cosmology, consciousness and related sciences … to be followed by discussion.

The first meeting of the P3Group took place on Friday, September 18, 2009 in the Community Room on the first floor of the Collingswood Library, 771 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ …just 4 blocks from the Collingswood Speedline Station.

Our next meetup is scheduled for November 20th, beginning at 6:30 pm. We will be viewing a portion of the "The Elegant Universe", a 3-hour documentary produced by WGBH/Boston. The section we will see is Part II ...about "string theory". Physicist Brian Greene will walk us through one current "Theory of Everything" for those of us present of the P3Group to understand and discuss.

Come with ideas for future documentaries as well as your pet theories and scientific insights. Let’s enhance each others’ understanding of current scientific thought and broaden each others’ views of what is possible.

Collingswood enjoys a 15-minute access from Philadelphia via Patco Speedline to Collingswood Station ...or a 15-minute drive from BF or WW bridges. Keep in mind that there are many great BYOB restaurants on Haddon Ave. if you want to come early …or leave late.
