(crossposted from www.vegansocietyofpeace.org/calendar/events)
The Kindness Ranch (http://www.kindnessranch.org) is a sanctuary for animals no longer used in research. Located on 1000 acres in rural Wyoming, the sanctuary has over sixty animals including dogs, cats, horses, sheep, pigs and lab rats.
On Saturday, March 3, sanctuary director Mike Stabler will be in Houston at a private residence to give a short presentation on the sanctuary. Please come to this free informational event. Kindness Ranch's Mike Stabler will show a brief slide show and answer any questions about the sanctuary. You'll also have the chance to meet other people interested in animals and their welfare.
Hosted in the Post Oak home of a supporter of Kindness Ranch, light snacks (with some vegetarian options) and drinks will be served. This is an adult event.
Please contact Mike for specific directions: Mike@KindnessRanch.org; 307-331-4569.
