Welcome present and aspiring activists! This is a human and animal rights meetup group working towards equality for *all* animals, human and non. Organized by the volunteers at the Peace Advocacy Group (PAN), this group was created to connect anyone interested and determined to make the world a better place. From PAN's perspective this improvement begins with veganism but involves many other equally important projects.
This group aims to educate the public on veganism by peaceful means and organize those wanting to help anyone in need. We plan and participate in protests, table at colleges and appropriate events (e.g. the Green Festival), and coordinate PAN's annual Vegan Pledge program in multiple cities. PAN also has screenings of documentaries related to both human rights and animal rights (e.g. The Dark Side of Chocolate and Earthlings). PAN also distributes healthful food to the homeless and others in need.
PAN has even more plans, but we need your help! Could you lend a hand?
There is more information on PAN below. You can also visit our website for more information.
Not vegan yet? Email us and we can connect you to your very own vegan mentor! That's right! You don't have to be scared by health worries, long ingredient names, kitchen woes, or hostile questions! PAN has vegan mentors who vary in areas of expertise from registered dietitians, practiced cooks, and seasoned debaters.
Peace Advocacy Network promotes a peaceful existence through veganism, social justice, and respect for the Earth's inhabitants and resources.
Peace Advocacy Network (PAN), founded in 2010, is a grassroots group completely run by volunteers. PAN strives for the absence of violence in the lives of animals - human and non-human alike. Campaigns include vegan advocacy, humane facts education, horse-drawn carriage ban, as well as human rights issues.
