Join us Sunday, February 27th at the Main Street Station Casino (in front of valet parking) at 4:00 pm as we Walk-A-Mile for Peace with the "13 Moon Walk 4 Peace."
The "13 Moon Walk For Peace" Walk Across America began on October 10, 2010 (10/10/10) at the King Center in Atlanta, GA. They have been walking for several months, and will be joined by the citizens of Las Vegas for a 1-2 mile walk throughout downtown Las Vegas on Sunday, Feb. 27th.

The 13 Moon Walk for Peace will begin in Atlanta, GA, where the Sacred Fire of Thunder, honoring the Great Law of Peace, from Six Nations will be passed to the Walkers by Diana Stone President of the Center for Spiritual Democracy. The Sacred Fire of Thunder will journey from Six Nations to The King Center, through communities to reach Atlanta in time for the walk (for more info on the Sacred Fire of Thunder, view http://www.SoulOfTheMother.org , whose mission is to offer Ancient Indigenous wisdom as a means of awakening the true loving essence of the human spirit).
Walkers from diverse cultures, ancestry, genders, and faiths, with a national coordinating team, will engage with grassroots groups across the country (42 cities and Native American reservations) to raise awareness of issues affecting our communities, and to highlight grassroots groups and organizations that are making a difference in their communities. We will help bring healing, happiness and peace to the heart of America, while giving visibility to the invisible and voice to the voiceless…
