Greetings!
What are these Peaceful Circles like, you ask?
They are gatherings for combining our collective experiences toward ever greater learning and healing on many levels of our multi-dimensional selves as well as widening our perceptual filters within our cultural matrices, (paradigm shifting); to experience our shared gifts in a group setting; for growing into greater awareness in evolving consciousness; for waking up to radical healing and transformation; for discovering and reclaiming personal power through magical illuminations and meditations; to discover the great power of shamanic energy healing within the sacred container we create together as Peaceful Circles. Zahra shares her experience with shamanic energy healing from various disciplines, and Peaceful Circles are also for evolving community building; we share great beauty and warmth with one another as each person is invited to share their gifts and participate at their own level of personal comfort.
Join us! Everyone is welcome!
When we participate in a circle, we might chant, intone "aum", sing, dance, drum, or share a "talking stick":
* We share simple agreements for keeping healthy boundaries, honoring others' differences, creating unity
• Listen for/with compassion and wisdom, seek illumination
• Speak from our hearts and from our experiences
• Invite silence and reflection, when needed, in the circle
• Speak only when you have the talking stick
• Keep personal information about others in confidence
• If you’re uncomfortable speaking, just say "pass"
• Make decisions, if needed, by consensus
Circle roles: As part of “shared leadership”, participants may take on various roles and responsibilities in a circle. Each role can be designated at the beginning of the circle meeting, if we choose to use them. They will be rotated at subsequent meetings.
• Circle holder: Inviting introductions and reminding the group of circle principles; starting the conversation, modeling concise speech, passing the talking piece to the person on their left.
• Caregiver: gently reminds others to honor circle principles if they are not being followed.
• Timekeeper: gently reminds group to share talking time, for keeping agreements to end on time.
• Secretary: may take brief notes about any actions shaman healers commit to. Students may take notes individually as well.
Please remember, WE ARE all-encompassing love.
Blessings upon blessings, BE the change, and BE well!
