Developer Meetup - Pebble Timeline and Pebble Pins!

Details

Hey Pebblers! Join us on Thursday, April 23th at Atlassian in SF for a developer-centric meetup about Pebble's Timeline and its Pins!

Well the dust has settled after March's celebratory Kickstarter Finale Party and now it's Time for some code! Thank you to everyone who came out last month, it was great to meet so many Pebble enthusiasts and Pebble Time backers! This month we are going to put a spotlight on the developers of our community and really dig into the timeline and what makes it tick. Have you heard of pins?

Pebble's own Kirby Kohlmorgen will be doing a presentation about Pebble's Timeline interface and best practices/tips for pushing pins. He'll also be showing a demo of timeline in action. You can get started developing for timeline even without a Pebble Time thanks to our emulator on cloudpebble.net!

If you're looking for an example of what timeline brings to Pebble, check out our video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYZoWS0QxI8) that was featured on our Pebble Time Kickstarter! Don't forget, this interface is coming to Pebble and Pebble Time as well so don't stuff them in a drawer if you didn't back our Kickstarter!

HEY PEBBLER DEMO-ERS!
Do you have a Pebble project you’re working on and want to show at the meetup? Use this sign-up sheet (https://docs.google.com/a/pulse-dev.net/spreadsheets/d/1BBpWGgWOJ5MMCmfIEgyS4nVKtHYNBnKJoQVttKyYv-M/edit#gid=1991086851) to grab your spot! Be sure you're on the tab that says 4/23/15. The format is 2 minutes without slides - just you, the microphone, and a watch screen projector. You can even use a Pebble Time for your demo this time as we'll have a table set up throughout the event for you to test your app on!

NEW FOOD TRUCK!

We're excited to announce that Curry Up Now (http://www.curryupnow.com/) will be gracing us with their presence from 6:30-7:30 and serving samosas and tikka masala in burrito or rice bowl form (chicken, veg, or vegan).

RAFFLE!

We decided to do a raffle again this month but with a twist! This time we have a couple Pebble Time themed sweatshirts to raffle off or you could win a pair of tickets to Maker Faire (http://makerfaire.com/makerfairehistory/) in May where you can see 3D printers, robots, light shows, and even come see us in the expo hall!
