Responsive Design Considerations For Office 365 and SharePoint

Details
Responsive web design (RWD) is an approach to web design aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of re-sizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones).
We are seeing what appears to be a misunderstanding of these methodologies. To help with this, this session topic will be on RWD. We feel there is tremendous value in this session and if possible, we encourage you to attend.
In this session, Eric Overfield, author of Pro SharePoint 2013 Branding and Responsive Web Developmen (http://www.amazon.com/SharePoint-Branding-Responsive-Development-Experts/dp/1430250283)t and founder of PixelMill (http://www.pixelmill.com/), will be discussing easier approaches to accommodating multiple screen sizes and devices using responsive and adaptive web design.
Key takeaways:
- Understanding the core concepts of Responsive Web Design
- The process of designing responsive SharePoint web sites
- How to combine SharePoint and RWD principles
- Tips, tricks & best practices from real life experiences
- What it is and what it is not
Food and drinks will be provided and we will have a raffle for prizes at the end.
See you there!
