Q3 Meetup - Labs
Details
Our September meetup will be the first time we're meeting at the new skillsmatter venue - CodeNode.
This will be a Labs session. I briefly mentioned this idea after the last meetup, and made some notes here:
Basically this will be a hands on session - no presentations. There will be the usual time for networking before and after, but the main part of the session there will be Pentaho experts on hand to help, advise and review your Pentaho solutions.
If you'd like to be part of a labs session and request this help then you will need to be able to:
- Bring a laptop which you can connect to your environment / demonstrate on
- Be willing to share the experience and allow others to watch on - in particular so they can learn too.
Hence no personal data to be displayed!!
There will be 3 key areas where we'll do support:
PDI/Kettle
Mondrian/Saiku/Analyzer
cTools (Dashboards/App Integration/sparkl)
There will be approximately 3 sessions in each area. All sessions need to be "pre-booked" so please contact me (dan@dankeeley.co.uk) to tell me which of the sessions you want to be part of. If you could give an overview of the issues you face that would help too.
