Permaculturists and Urban Homesteaders Unite

This group is for the facilitation of a Permaculture and Homesteading culture in Urban Syracuse and surround peri-urban and rural communities. We will work together with The Alchemical Nursery (www.alchemicalnursery.org) to develop this network.

We will decide as a group the ongoing goals of our time together. I am envisioning discussion around specific topics such as urban gardening, food preservation, landscape design, natural building, etc.
I also envision organizing educational events for the larger Syracuse community; and work parties at Permaculture and urban homestead sites for hands-on experiences.

This group will bring together people who are interested in learning theory and techniques to help us live and survive economically, ecologically and spiritually in our modern world.
