Learning more about NW Florida gardening
Only as I can incorporate it into my landscaping.
Incorporating edibles into the landscape, artfully.
Hi, My name is Sharon Howell. I have been a Master Gardener (AL) for years but Celiac Disease now requires more knowledge about organic gardening in this area.
I was sick during the last monthly meeting but remember some talk at the prior meeting about meeting in different areas in and around Jacksonville. However, I was unprepared for a meeting with only two people I recognized. Don't get me wrong everyone was very nice and I learned a lot about Unity Church and the congregation. I admit I was very ignorant of even the basics. I brought one of my sons with me and he believes this may be a place for his wife so it was not a waste of my time. But, back to Permaculture. If it isn't just my naiveté perhaps some sort of likert-like (1-5) scale or something of the sort to denote how "Permaculturish" or hardcore the meeting will be would make it easier for people like me to choose if and what to attend. I am fairly new so those of you with more experience may know if this might work better. For me, knowing in advance how much I might learn or I might be able to offer would help me best choose which meetings to attend.
