This is the place to learn about personal finance!

I started this group to offer educational workshops on personal and consumer finance in the East Bay (CA) area. Though there is a cost for the all-day workshops, the introductory sessions that will be offered now and then will be at no charge.

In addition to offering workshops on the practical aspects of personal finance, there will be those dealing with "internal finance" -- how money makes us behave, react, and act out -- often in ways which are not serving us well. These explorations of money's deeper meaning will help members to better understand their relationship with money and why it has been or may currently be a point of stress or contention in your life.
