Hi Philly DSAers and Friends!

For our Fall reading group series we will be looking at a range of strategic issues surrounding the questions "what is socialist strategy today, and what should it?" We will start this Sunday by looking at three key (short) texts (links above) that exemplify DSA's current strategy as an organization. This will be an excellent chance for both new folks to learn a bit more about why socialist organization is important and what DSA stands for, as well as a chance for more seasoned DSAers to talk about their agreements and differences with these perspectives. It should be a fascinating discussion. A link to the chapters is at the top of this email. If you have any problems accessing the readings, please email Liz at elizabeth.t.henderson@gmail.com.

Even if you can't get to any of the readings, please come anyway and participate in the discussion! Snacks and soda will be served.

Following the reading group we will go out for drinks and food at a nearby bar or restaurant to have some DSA socializing time.

We hope to see you there!

In Solidarity,
Philly DSA
