Good meeting! It was a little hard to hear at times, especially when conversations in the hallway by non-attendees spilled into the room. No fault of the speakers, though.

If anyone is interested in learning more about Sencha Touch, check out the official user group Jarvus is helping get started for Philly (we're heavy users of both Sencha frameworks):

Hi folks. James has given me permission to post a job to the community board here. As we are a small company, we are leaving the job open to varying levels of skill. Compensation will be defined by the skill level of the applicant. We are looking to hire immediately.

Applications can be sent to me through here, or directly to me at [masked] Thank you for reviewing!

I linked to the position description, since there is a 1000 character limit to the board:

    Thank You!

Hi group. This will be my second meeting of the JavaScript meetup. Our company is hiring javascript developers, and I'd like the opportunity to open the job to the group. I don't want to be intrusive to the meeting, so if a meeting admin would be kind of enough to contact me, I'd be very appreciative! Thanks.

Hi Vincenzo, please feel free to post your job to the meetup discussion board. If you'd like the opportunity to announce it at the meetup, please contact me directly. Thanks! ~ James

Are you guys moving the JS Meetup to Tuesday? This would be a welcome change for me since Thursday's are nearly impossible for me to make.

    1 · July 17, 2013

    • Pam S.

We kind of happened upon Thursdays because of timing over the last few months, but it was by no means official -- the very first meetup was a Wednesday! I think we'll try and keep it moving somewhat, because flexibility (while a little hassle for some schedules) also allows us to reach more speakers, more participants, and be flexible about venues.

So, no, not really, but glad it works for you this time, and we'll keep day flexibility in mind in the future for social meetups as well (perhaps a Tuesday or Weds for October's?).
