LibertyJS (Buy your ticket on Peatix!)

It's coming! Our very own day of JavaScript fun.

RSVPing on this meetup event does not count as a ticket.

-------

LibertyJS is a single day series of events for JavaScript lovers on July 26, 2014, at ImpactHub in Philadelphia. With workshops, open hack, open spaces, and killer festivities to round it off, there's something for everyone.

In the morning, attend a workshop: Introduction to Programming with JavaScript, NodeSchool, or Introduction to Angular. In the afternoon, join GirlDevelopIt and CodeForPhilly to work on projects, build your portfolio, and put your new skills to work, or visit (or host!) an open space session to learn or share. Finally, in the evening, relax and chat about everything you learned at an excellent on-site after-party.

Tickets include food, swag (dare I say t-shirt?), and access to our awesome JavaScript event of course. Tickets are also available if you want to come in the afternoon and skip the workshops.

Keep an eye on libertyjs.com as well, and if you want to help/volunteer for any reason (or sponsor), please get in touch.

    Parking suggestions for this location?

    July 25

    • Brad S.

Street parking is good around there.

Just park at least one block north of Girard -- it's all free there, with no PPA limits, and ImpactHub warns that they ARE good about ticketing!

First time PJD attendee. Looking forward to the event. Any tips for newbies?

This is different from our regular monthly events. First tip is to make sure you have your ticket on Peatix (peatix.com/event/43517), second is to bring your laptop, charger, and positive attitude :)

A company in King of Prussia has open positions for Senior Application Expert, Support Analyst and Technical Project Manager. Please let me know if anyone is looking for new opportunities. I can forward postings.

Hey Joe, thanks for the heads up on the open positions. Please be sure to post this and future openings in the discussion board. There is a "Job Posting" section there. Thanks! ~ James

Just got my ticket for the Node Workshop, it was a hard decision between it and Angular!

next question is what will the open session consist of during the day?

    July 7

    • Pam S.

Open sessions are free-form style events, where people choose to lead a session/discussion/roundtable. For example, I might talk about git, and someone else might be interested in having a discussion on JavaScript frameworks. Schedule is made day of. See Barcamp for more info on that style http://2013.barcampph...

My question is on the price list as follows:

    Open Session + Evening $10.00

    JS101 Workshop + Open Session + Evening $15.00

Angular Workshop + Open Session + Evening $15.00

    NodeSchool + Open Session + Evening $15.00

Ok so to make sure that I understand the class prices for example I could go to the Angular workshop +Open session + evening for $15?

this is three sessions for that price correct?

    July 7

    • Pam S.

Correct, you only need one ticket

      July 8

  • James S.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
