Update -- I am surprised and pleased that so many folks are interested in this topic.  After talking with other Mandarin speakers/teachers, I think it makes the most sense to focus this group on more intermediate/advanced speakers.  If someone wants to take leadership for a "beginners" Mandarin Group, that'd be great too! :)
