MongoDB is getting ready for their release candidate for MongoDB 3.4.

I'm super excited that we have an opportunity to host a BugHunt right here in Philadelphia.

What's a BugHunt?? Great question...

You'll get involved in testing the upcoming release. Here's the basic layout of what we'll do.

Part 1: Learn how to test

Recorded presentation from Ramon Fernandez-Marina, Director, Build & Release Engineering at MongoDB

Topics include:

  • Using mlaunch to quickly stand up MongoDB deployments
  • Using mgenerate to create test data
  • Finding & filing bugs in JIRA
  • How to use resmoke.py (Server’s testing framework)

Part 2: Bug hunting together

Enjoy refreshments and hunt bugs together! Join MongoDB community members and engineers as we test the latest version of MongoDB. This will be a hands-on session so come ready to code.
