Ready for more harmony and ease in your relationships? Is yelling or running away not working? When you are centered in your own experience there's no better tool for fostering compassionate connection than Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
This workshop is designed to offer a comprehensive introduction to Nonviolent Communication as developed by Marshall Rosenberg and the Center For Nonviolent Communication.
NVC gives us access to compassion we were previously unaware of by connecting us to our deepest life energy and that of others. Through the awareness of and connection to needs, values and "what we all want in life," we become less aligned with our conflicting strategies, thoughts and judgments and we become more aligned with the endless possibilities of all life.
In this workshop we will go over the fundamentals of non-violent communication. We present opportunities to practice these fundamentals. We will spend time on key elements of NVC: empathy, needs, feelings, demands, requests, observation vs. evaluation as well the purpose and value it serves in all types of relationships.
You will learn to:
• stay centered in any situation
• move beyond stalemates and power struggles
• forgive yourself and others
• hear the “yes” behind every “no”
• express anger or disappointment without judgment or blame
• be flexible without being submissive
• enjoy openness, honesty, and appreciation
• share “quality time” all the time
Experience what life could be. When you see the beauty in every beast, you'll live happily ever after. Fairy tale? Come and find out.
