Sold Out!!!Memorial Day Camping Trip to Ricketts Glen and Hickory Run

Camping trips are always a great way to spend the holiday weekend. That’s why we’re excited for a camping trip to two of the best state parks in eastern PA. Over the three day weekend, we’ll trek the famous Falls Trail at Ricketts Glen, Boulder Field at Hickory Run, as wells other great spots at those two parks.

WARNING - Ricketts Glenn is hands down the most scenic trail in all of Pennsylvania.  If this is your first camping trip, you may not want to come because this trail is so pretty it will spoil you for any other trail.  By the end you will think waterfalls are on every corner and may go through waterfall withdrawal for the rest of the season.

If you are an experienced hiker in PA, you have no excuse.  This is a must do!

Our base camp will be at Hickory Run State Park which boasts great facilities (there are showers at the park), swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. You are responsible for providing your own tent and sleeping bag. However, if you ask nicely we may have tents to loan/share.

Cost includes: guides certified in Wilderness First Aid; all campsite fees for two nights; Lunch and Dinner on Saturday and Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Sunday; Brunch on Monday; snacks and water.

This trip is limited to 15 members.  First to pay get to go.  Do not delay.

Payment: To submit payment, either pay by check or pay by credit card via our website., Visit the event page here and click on "register." It'll walk you through paying.

If you don't have a user ID on the site yet, go here and become a member.

Start Date: May 25, 2012 @ 12:00 PM

Return Date: May 27, 2012 @ 5:00 PM

Difficulty: 7 out of 10 (Some of the hiking trails will be strenuous and require sturdy shoes).
