Integration, Grace, Balance and Dark Matter

With dark matter nipping at our heels and a fix rarely in sight what part does shadow play in our process? Shadow needs a place at the table, heard and seen as a valuable aspect of our whole being. Yet, rarely is there space for shadow influences to assist in our growth, leading to an integrated healthy shadow.
Given an opportunity to embrace the historical dark matter of our lives, would we give shadow an equal say in our decisions and process? What is the process of shadow integration?

I propose there is an interesting opportunity to embody shadow through the gate way of daring, reluctance and fear. Daring to embrace the paradoxical nature of shadow as one of our authentic guides and friends frees us to explore the truth contained within our shadows. Let's face it shadow is juicy.

I am not suggesting a free fall into our darkest angst or a high wire act without a net. I am suggesting that an honest exploration of how shadow becomes integrated will enhance trust and mutuality. I invite you to participate in this unique investigation of embodied shadow.

Integrating shadow has been and is a valuable exploration in my process, allowing for a new perspective on historical events and wounding. Authoring my experience of self in the present moment creates space for the past and gives me more flexibility to own each moment.
