"Battle for City Hall" - a bipartisan debate for City Council at-Large

Please join us for a candidates’ forum for the upcoming municipal elections for City Council, Sheriff, and City Commissioner.

This will be held at 6:30PM on October 19th, 2011 at the Veteran Boxing Association hall, 2733 Clearfield St (between Richmond and Salmon Sts.) in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, PA. This debate is intended to measure the positions of all ten city council candidates as they apply to the issues effecting citizens of Philadelphia. Questions will be taken from members of Philadelphians for Ethical Leadership, Citizens for a Better Philadelphia, The 5th Ward GOP, the Philadelphia Young Republicans and the Veteran Boxing Association who are welcome to start posting questions on our message board. Candidates will have time to introduce themselves and answer questions over issues affecting the municipal governance of our city.

There is a full bar at the VBA with $2 drink specials throughout the event.
