## UPDATE: After some great input from practitioners on the Content Strategy Philly message board, several of which invited discussion and dissection of Philly.com, the news site's Vice President and Editor Wendy Warren and new design director Josh Cohen will now be joining us Tues. evening.

Wendy and Josh recognize the value of hearing input from content experts about Philly.com's content strategy and user experience. In exchange for the advice, the company will also be providing snacks for the group!

We'll also breakdown the following sites:

Philly.com Phila.gov Southphillyfoodcoop.org Moore.edu ##

We've seen it all too often: the government landing page that lacks user experience (ahem). The restaurant that has a three-minute Flash intro sequence before you can see its phone number. The music venue with its calendar buried three levels too deep. What is it that makes sites SUCK? What can us content strategists do to fix them?

At our next meetup on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at IndyHall in Old City, we'll work in breakout groups to give some therapy and solutions to these frightening sites.

But we need you now!

We're looking to the Content Strategy Philly members to get discussion going here. Tell us your least favorite local web site designs, looking to music venues, government sites, restaurants, museums, entertainment or other. We'll choose the five best suggestions and break out into smaller groups to try and fix the user experience and content problems. We'll end with short presentations.

This will be a great way to see how other CS experts work on-the-ground, share how you see content on the web, and work together to make results. Add your website suggestions here: https://www.meetup.com... (https://www.meetup.com/Philly-Content-Strategy/messages/boards/thread/17352022/#58645652), or leave a comment below. And sign up for this meetup today!
