Scaling up your tech and your team can be challenging, but it doesn't have to be that hard. Frank will share tips and tricks on what works and doesn't work when scaling. Including topics such as how to avoid pre-mature optimizations, avoiding tech fads, tools and methodologies that work well, and upcoming tech that he is currently excited about.

Frank Wiles is the President and Founder of Revolution Systems an Internet Consultancy that focuses on building and scaling large internet systems, often with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL. In his 18 years of industry experience, he has worked in many different industries including television, legal, medicine, academic research, internet startups, telephony, journalism, print/web publishing and helped run the tech of one of the first cable ISPs in the country. This varied experience and a healthy dose of cost consciousness on the part of many of these industries has shaped Frank's approaches to getting more done with less resources.
