Come join us at our monthly meeting to discuss the trait of High Sensitivity. Based on Elaine Aron's book, "The Highly Sensitive Person", we'll delve into the gifts and challenges of the Highly Sensitive Person.

Since the group is based on the work of Elaine Aron, to participate in this group we require that you take the HSP quiz located in Elaine Aron's book , "The Highly Sensitive Person" or on her website hsperson.com. We also require that you read "The Highly Sensitive Person" before being approved as a member of this group.

Elaine is known for saying that at least once in your life you should have the experience of being in "a room full of us".  Typically HSPs do not look forward to going to social events, especially when the people and the space is unknown.  However most HSP's who find their way to our meetup are very grateful to be with us.  There is a sense of quiet, deep respect and unspoken connection which is palpable.  Being together in one place helps us to feel the exquisiteness of our trait of sensitivity and therefore we can recognize it within ourselves as a gift and do the self-care which we need to do to accommodate for the challenging situations we often find ourselves in.
