Philly Girlfriends is for young women who are married , engaged or in a serious relationship (living together) to meet fun new friends! We are in our mid 20's to mid 30's and still love to go out with girlfriends once in a while! Sometimes it's hard for us to go out 2-3 nights a week like our single girlfriends. After all, we have our daily routines with our husbands and live in boyfriends or fiance's. We are in serious relationships but still like to go out too!

The point of "Philly Girlfriends" is to develop close and ongoing friendships with young women like ourselves in serious relationships or at a certain point (that second stage) of our lives. Plus isn't it refreshing to spend time with a group of women who aren't focused on looking for or meeting new guys, attending happy hours at loud bars, going to night clubs, or anything else that is a part of the "single life"?! All of that use to sound like a great time but things eventually changed in our lives, though that doesn't mean we still can't have fun!

Don't get me wrong, single girlfriends are great and I have a million that are my closest friends but this group allows us to meet and make new friendships with other *coupled-up* women!

This group will meet up a few times a month. Activities include dinners out, cocktails or coffee, shows/events/concerts, workshops/classes, athletic activities, potlucks, house dinner parties, movie nights; it's never ending in Philadelphia! The greatest thing about Philly Girlfriends is that there is so much to do or explore in Philadelphia, why not do it together and gain true friendships! We will also have "Date Nights" which will allow us to bring our Husbands, Boyfriends or Fiance's along!

This group is really just a simple friendship group, I'm not trying to sell or promote anything. We want to be able to see our friends! *Members must be FEMALES ONLY, SPAM or PROMOTING NOT ALLOWED & MUST HAVE A PHOTO (It's pretty easy to delete a "creepy" member)* !

We're all busy women, so if you can't attend an event that's fine (things happen sometimes)... but please don't take away a spot (no shows) when there are people on the waiting list who are truly interested and available to attend. Please remember that a lot of time and effort goes into planning events, so please honor and update your RSVP.

For example: there's a group event planned in a week, however this very night you feel like catching a movie or trying out a new restaurant. Simply post up your plans or ideas on the *Messages Board* and anyone from the group can respond to join you! It's all about making new friendships and that does not always have to be with the group as a whole! :)
