What do you consider to be Philly's best-kept dining secret?

I guess some of the gastro-pubs like Standard Tap. I don't think a lot of people realize how good their food is. I had a monkfish and clams dish that was incredible. I also discovered a little BYOB in Fishtown called Bistro Juliana.

What is your favorite restaurant in the city?

That's a tough question. There are so many great ones. I love Estia, Standard Tap, N. 3rd, La Viola, Silk City, and Los Catrines/Tequila's.

What cuisines have you not tried but would really like to?

Perhaps an African restaurant- Ethiopian or something along those lines. I would also like to try a Turkish place. I believe there is one off of Second Street that is supposed to be good.

What are your favorite types of cuisines?

Mexican, Italian, Cuban, Middle Eastern, Japanese, Thai. I am pretty much willing to try anything.

I love to try new restaurants and would really like to expand my social network.

What Kerry is saying about this Meetup Group

This is a very nice group of people who go out of their way to get to know you and make you feel welcome. They get together quite often- 2-3 times a month and try a lot of different restaurants with different types of cuisine.
