Post Presentation Social: Firehouse on Mill Ave. will be offering the PHX DUG: half off apps, $3 beers, $4 cocktails, $5 burgers

An excellent summary of the SASS tool and what it can do for you. I will have to take the time and learn how to use it. Thank you Clint for the presentation.

It was a class that asked me "Now why haven't I been using this tool sooner?".

Does anyone know if the exact room has been determined yet?

And parking to. Where the best place to park would be.

    • Nate J.

You can take your chances on the ramp of the parking garage behind the Wells Fargo building just east of Mill on University. I highly recommend you do NOT attempt to park anywhere in proximity of Mill Ave Jack In The Box; they have their own tow truck just to nab cars from that lot (and we watch them tow a handful of offenders pretty much every day).

What about those parking areas on the south east corner of Mill and University? I know the chilies parking lot is off limits.

Looking forward to it! Could people who are planning on attending give me an idea of whether you have or are currently using SASS?

Would be cool to show off sass feature to create image sprites?

    Hello,

I'm currently starting to use sass and less, I believe, in the new bootstrap theme. I know roughly what its about. I know of it more than I know it, but am eager to learn more.

Here's a general overview of what I'll be covering during the SASS presentation.

    1) What is SASS? Why should I use it?
    2) How does it compare with LESS? (brief)
    3) How do I get SASS running (I'll cover the mac environment since that's what I work on.)
    4) Key functionality demo (variables, partials, mixins, etc)

    Thanks!
    Clint
