Platform as a Service / OpenShift Overview by Bill DeCoste of Red Hat

In our previous meetup, we discussed the concepts of Infrastructure as a Service using OpenStack. But what if your needs go beyond infrastructure? What if you need a complete environment for an application to run?

Building on the concepts of IaaS, this time we'll discuss Platform as a Service. PaaS allows you to automate the deployment, configuration, and management of application frameworks and dependencies. It allows for a very high density of applications on limited hardware, increases time to market and development agility.
