Hello everyone! To make a long story short, I was asked to step in and re-organize this meetup group a few months back.

After a lot of thought, and a few cents from others, we're making this group into the PhoneNews.com Monthly Mobile Meetup (or Mx3) for short.

We expect to hold our first meetup early in 2012. Right now, we're looking for volunteers and sponsors.

2012 is a big year for PhoneNews.com, as we're expanding to beyond the hard-hitting mobile coverage that we've commanded for the past eight years. Starting next year, we're going to be covering the whole tech sector, combined with new apps (and ways) to get mobile-and-tech news on your phone... and on all your other devices.
