Trip to Fairhaven

We are going to the Unitarian Memorial Church, Fairhaven. Those riding together from Plymouth will meet at Super Stop and Shop parking lot. Departure will be at 9:35AM. Don't be late.

Our common meeting place in Fairhaven will be at Fort Phoenix about 10:30AM. Directions to Ft. Phoenix:

Take a right out of parking lot. Left onto Seven Hills Road. Right onto Federal Furnace Road Take entrance to Rt 495 via the ramp to Cape Cod. Take Exit 1 onto Rt 195 W towards New Bedford Get off at Exit 18 which says Fairhaven Rte 240 At the second set of lights go right onto Rte 6 West/Huttleston Ave After about 1.5 miles take a left onto Green St. (there is a small green sign on the left side of the road at the turn that says "Fort Phoenix, Beach, State Reservation", watch for it because it's hard to see Go about 1.5 miles on Green Street and you will see a big parking lot and ocean in front of you. Try to park on the right side of the lot.

From Fort Phoenix we will go to lunch at Margaret's Restaurant, 16 Main St. in Fairhaven.

From lunch we will go to the church at 102 Green St as we are scheduled to be there at 1 PM.

Note that parking is usually tight at the restaurant and church.

We come together as a group and we discuss whatever happens to be on the agenda of the day. Sometimes it's a planned lesson and sometimes it's not but either way we learn a lot each time we meet. Come when you can, you're not required to come to every meet-up but we like to see your smiling face as often as possible. Don't feel like you have to know anything about photography cuz you don't. When I say beginner I truly mean beginner. Come learn with us.
