Where: Arrival Miami, Fla., 1 night; flight to Havana (Cuba), 5 nights; coach to Varadero, 2 nights; coach to Havana for flight to Miami.

Program Price per person: $4392 in a double (shared) room. Add $500 for single occupancy.

Enrollment is limited to 12 - 16 participants, with a support staff of up to 5 to make sure you have the best adventure possible. Photographers should be technically self sufficient, this is not a program to learn how to use your gear.

Lodging and 22 meals are all included, as well as any needed visas, medical emergency evacuation insurance, activities, gratuities and airport transfers. The only thing you will need to pay for is your flight to Miami and home again, travel insurance if needed, bar drinks, personal incidentals and several meals.

Essdras M. Suarez is a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, and a staff photographer at the Boston Globe who has led many tours to Cuba. He was born in Panama and has family in Cuba, understands the Cuban culture and how to make the most of our time there. Both Essdras and Amy speak spanish and there will be an additional experienced Cuban photographer accompanying us during our program.

Meet local artists, dancers and students, this is a meeting-the-artists-and-people-of-Cuba trip, all along making sure the program is structured in such a manner that it is interesting for photographers with many opportunities to learn and take your photography to the next level.
