May Intermediate Photo Critique

This is event will be located somewhere on the East Side of Madison.

This is a new recurring monthly event for intermediate and advanced level photographers who would like to get a more thorough and honest critique on their work.

Memebers who attend this meetup are required to bring with them prints of a minimum of 8x10 size, for up to two photos that they would like critiqued. There is no requirement for the content of the photographs, just bring a few examples of your best work, that has not been previously shown, and we will discuss them as a group.

The photos must be brought as prints so that there is no subjectivity or bias due to screens or projectors. Prints can be made at the camera company for a very reasonable price, or ordered from any number of online sources.

I just received confirmation that if you want to get your prints through the Camera Company, that you should put "Meet Up Group" in the special instructions section and you will receive a $1/print discount.

More information will be posted as questions and comments arrise

I enjoyed meeting new people as well as talking with folks I've already met, and got some good advice on correcting my photos. Now I need Photoshop training!

Meet more members of the group..always fun meeting new people :)
I did not care for writing down info. Not sure if that help the meeting go fast or not. Next time I'll only bring in 2 photos. Good info was given and loved the photos people brought in. Good times :)
