Cathy, I went. I didn't find it informative. I left after an hour. I don't think you missed much. I got a lot more out of the Adobe week last year. And all of those presentations (Bryan O’Neil Hughes, Bert Monroy, etc.) are on Adobe TV.

Wish I could have attended this. It closed as soon as I received the notification. It filled up fast!

Welcome. I was trying for a bulleted list, but it didn't quite work out. And the last one lost a few digits - here it is: http://tinyurl.com/74nsd2t - or go to my home page for an easier to read list: http://www.photoshopclass.com - The tutorials page has a longer list of general PS links.

Loved it! I enjoyed the presentation, I cannot wait to see what is in store for other Creative Suite apps like Premier, Audition, and After Effects as well.

I thought that very good questions were asked by the audience, and the speaker was very timely, and informative.

Oh, and the best part for me was afterwards: Getting to watch lightning flash across the already beautifully lit SF skyline from the Adobe HQ building. What a bonus!!!!

Extremely well presented and professional. One new interesting feature after another clearly explained. It also didn't hurt that I won the raffle prize of PShop CS 6! Thanks!

This was my first meeting and because I had already explored some of the new Cs6 features, I did not expect to see much more but to my surprise there was much MUCH more. I came home and downloaded the CS6 Beta version

I mostly work in LR. So, to me, PS gets real esoteric real fast. Last night was a revel in the esoteric. Do I need this to work on photos?

I can't wait to get the Photoshop CS6.

Valuable information was sporadic and sparse and could have been far more condensed for this highly sophisticated Photoshop crowd. Instead, the information was not condensed. FOR EXAMPLE: Five minutes was spent on the color change to the UI background - information that could have been conveyed in twenty seconds: "So, the UI color has changed to match our other apps. This is because, as you know, photos look better on dark backgrounds. You can cycle through the four options with control-option-F. Watch. Dah. Dah. Dah. Dah." and freakin' done. This was at the half hour mark. I decided to leave because I just couldn't wait half an hour for the next useful piece of information.

Zorana was excellent! She's a good speaker laid back and explained the new features in a very understandable way. This was my first PS seminar and I left knowing some stuff and excited about using the ps6 download.
I'm new to this level of professionalism and enjoyed the evening.
Thanks Zorana and special thanks to Marie.

Matt - sorry for the late reply but this will cover a lot of the same features that Kathy covers; however, I will provide a broader overview and hit on a bunch of features that she didn't cover.

Hi William - It varies. Sometime sthe speakers provide it themselves on their own websites, or we use Adobe Connect and try to offer it for download. Majority if not all so far are distributed post meeting by the speakers themselves.

    April 12, 2012

  • Marie M.

Hi Andrew, FYI Our group does not broadcast live, nor have we offered this in the past. At times, we may "record" a presentation, if the speaker offers permission to do so, and make it available for download and viewing post meeting. At this time, we do not have any plans to offer our meetings "live". But you may want to check out some of the other Adobe groups who do offer this, we encourage you to join them! Fireworks User Group Fire On the Bay, and Creative Suite Lovers Group. Thank you!

dude, i'm not the one who started off this thread with the bad attitude. i simply asked a question.

if you want to have a little slap-fest, let's not bother the members of the group with this. let's take it outside.

dude, i'm not your b. check out the link. it's a video capture from the meeting. do people not view videos anymore, or is it too much trouble for you?

i'm not one of the organizers of the group, i was hoping they could weigh in.

i'd like to know how this differs (if at all) from the overview given by creative suite lovers group last week.
