  • It's been a few years since a whole episode of the TV series "house" was shot in its entirety on a Canon 5d Mar II. In High Definition. It looked pretty good to.

As a photographer I get asked all the time whether I can shoot video, it's becoming more and more important especially when shooting weddings and musicians in concert.

Until recently I always resisted but then I took some lessons and started shooting video at music festivals last year.  I've learned quite a bit from my experience and know how challenging and difficult it can be.

However,  if you follow some basic guidelines and avoid a few easy to overcome pitfalls you can shoot great looking video on your DSLR.

Join me in this basic introduction and learn:

    How to handle the camera

    What equipment you need

How not to zoom and move

    The 10 second rule

How to shot master video and "B-roll"

    How to get great sound.

    Basic editing

    Publishing on YouTube

(Check out one of my early handheld attempts  on YouTube:

The class will be limited to just 6 and the cost is just $55

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
